Welcome to our adventure!
Join us as we travel around the heart of the old Persian Empire, or modern-day Iran. We'll share stories of the people and places we encounter in our travels from the perspective of an American. The stories will highlight the beauty and warmth of the Persian culture and identify contradictions with the American narrative of Iranians. But most of all, we are on an adventure, and we want you to join in on the fun!
The primary means of interaction are stories written by me, Joseph Carroll. Additionally, we've provided several means of organizing the stories to make it easier for you to follow along.
Here's how the site is organized:
